Comparative Movie Reviews: Each student should prepare a 7-10 page paper that compares and contrasts at least two older movies from the list below or two newer movies that you would like to analyze that seems to fit one of the categories.  No more than 1 movie should be selected from each category.  At a minimum the paper should address the following questions: What are the main plots of each of the movies reviewed? What images of government and governmental employees are presented in each of the films, and what do such images imply about the conduct of public administration? If the images presented in each of the films reviewed represent a true depiction of reality, what does the world/society/culture look like, and what is the role of government and public administrators in such a world/society/culture? What does a comparison of the worldviews presented in each of the films reviewed reveal about the relation of cinema to government and society?
