Please write a 3-6 pages’ paper on Multiple Perspectives on Ethics covering Virtue Ethics, Deontological Ethics and Consequentialism. To get started, I have provided Wikipedia links.
(font-size: Times New Roman 12, margin: 1”)
Virtue Ethics (Aristotelian Ethics)
Ethical theories which emphasize virtues of mind and character
(example Buddhist morality)
Deontological Ethics (Kantian ethics)
Normative ethical position that judges the morality of an action based on the action’s adherence to a rule or rules (“duty”)
Normative ethical theories holding that the consequences of one’s conduct are the ultimate basis for any judgment about the rightness or wrongness of that conduct.
Utilitarianism: theory in normative ethics holding that the best moral action is the one that maximizes utility. Utility is defined in various ways, but is usually related to the well-being of sentient entities.
I would like you to use other journal references in your paper – using the IEEEPaperFormat.doc which is posted in Isidore.
An example of IEEE References style is given below:
List and number all bibliographical references in 9-point Times, single-spaced, at the end of your paper. When referenced in the text, enclose the citation number in square brackets, for example . Where appropriate, include the name(s) of editors of referenced books.
A.B. Smith, C.D. Jones, and E.F. Roberts, “Article Title”, Journal, Publisher, Location, Date, pp. 1-10.
