The Cochrane Reviews, Marking Algorithm and other relevant details can be found under the ‘Assessment’ tab on the NURS2201 Blackboard site. This assessment requires you to provide a commentary on a Cochrane Review. Cochrane Nursing Care Field (CNCF) ‘Cochrane Corners’ are a summary of an original Cochrane Review written by nurses for nurses to highlight the relevance for nursing practice. Submit Draft – The draft aims to encourage you to start your assessment early. The draft must contain a reasonable amount of relevant content and demonstrate genuine progress. You can use narrative, tabular or graphical formats as long as it accurately represents the results. It must not be a direct cut and paste. (Approximately 150-200 words). 7. Conclusions- Comment on the ‘Conclusion’ section. It must not be a direct cut and paste. (approx 100 Words). 8. Implications for practice- In your opinion, what are the implications of this review for nursing practice? This section requires independent, critical thought (approximately 150 words). 9. References- Use APA style to reference the Cochrane review and any other references you might use. Most sections of this assessment do not require external references however appropriate references in the ‘Background’ and ‘Implications for Practice’ sections may be useful. Writing in your own words ‘paraphrasing’ demonstrates how well you understand the content.
